Will Apple Announce Verizon iPhone 4 With iOS 4.2 Release?

According to reports, Apple has delayed the release of iOS 4.2, which was believed to be released today. There are rumors that Apple may be delaying the release as it plans to announce Verizon iPhone 4 simultaneously but these are only rumors till now with no official confirmation.
Some tech website claimed that the Cupertino-based firm delayed the released after the discovery of a bug in the iOS 4.2 Gold Master release. The Gold Master version of the iOS 4.2 was released for Apple developers in early November.
"Even if the iPad manages to successfully connect to a local network, the connection is lost after a few minutes," with some iPads said to be struggling to connect to the Internet at all,” wrote MacStories. It may be recalled that Apple CEO Steve Jobs announced last month said that the update would arrive sometime in November and the company has already started accepting iOS 4.2-compatible apps.

The iOS 42 update would bring some new features in the Apple devices. AirPlay is an important feature which the iOS 4.2 would bring to the devices. Jobs said in a press conference in September that AirPlay will allow the users to stream audio, video and photos over Wi-Fi to other devices on their network. This includes iPhone, iPod and iPad. IOS 4.2 will also bring the AirPrint feature to the Apple's devices. The AirPrint will bring the ability to print to any networked printer from an iOS device. AirPrint works over Wi-Fi as well and users don't need to connect any added drivers for it.

The introduction of the iOS 4.2 will bring multitasking and more for iPad and it will also bring iPad closer to iPhone. It is learnt that the update will allow the users to carry on multitasking with the iPad. It will also allow them to run multiple apps simultaneously to iPad. The iOS 4.2 update will also add folders for organizing apps and Game Center access.

Weekly Quote From Steve Jobs

"In most people's vocabularies, design means veneer. It's interior decorating. It's the fabric of the curtains of the sofa. But to me, nothing could be further from the meaning of design. Design is the fundamental soul of a human-made creation that ends up expressing itself in successive outer layers of the product or service."
